Bisons:
It was a day when the Buffalo Bisons tried to create their scoring opportunities. Only, the gambles late in the game didn't quite pay off. The Herd had a one-run lead with two outs in the top of the ninth, but failed to hold on and ended up dropping a 4-3 decision to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in front of an announced crowd of 4,613 at Coca-Cola Field on Sunday afternoon. - link
B-Mets:
New Hampshire's Luis Perez shut down Binghamton's high-scoring offense Sunday, holding the Mets without a hit until the sixth inning in the Fisher Cats' 3-1 victory. The B-Mets (6-6) entered Sunday's contest averaging 6.5 runs, including eight per game over the first three of the four-game series at New Hampshire. But Perez held the B-Mets without a hit until Luis Hernandez's one-out solo home run in the top of the sixth inning cut the Fisher Cats' lead to 3-1. That was the only offense for the B-Mets, as Perez and two relievers combined on a one-hitter - link
Gnats:
The Rome Braves beat the Savannah Sand Gnats, 3-2, on Sunday before a crowd of 3,559 for their first home win this season. Rome (6-5) took a 2-1 lead in the sixth inning thanks to a two-run single by Jordan Kreke. The Braves added a run in the seventh inning to make it 3-1. Savannah (6-5) cut the score to 3-2 on Jeff Flagg's single, which drove in Pedro Zapata. The Sand Gnats' first run came in the sixth inning when Juan Lagares hit a sacrifice fly to bring in Rylan Sandoval. - link
