Bisons:
Rochester shortstop Trevor Plouffe started and finished the Red Wings' 6-1 victory over the Buffalo Bisons here Wednesday night at Frontier Field. Plouffe tripled and scored on Luke Hughes' groundout to get the Wings in front in the first inning. Rochester never lost the lead as starter Jeff Manship (1-2), Matt Fox and Kyle Waldrop held the Herd to seven hits and walked none. Plouffe finished things off with a solo home run in the seventh.
