I love it.
Cespedes was the best bat out there and he was our bat to boot. The four year deal is not too long and t has no opt out. I think it is wonderful and I think anyone that would find fault with this signing is insane.
No fault at all with the signing. In fact, I'd said if they offered 4/$110 (coincidentally exactly what he got) and Cespedes said no, I would not call the Mets cheap as that was indeed a legitimate and fair offer.
The fault will occur when they feel that they're done with the offense now that they caught their big fish.
My first post for Mack's Mets was that we should sign Cespedes, and that was just a week ago. My next post will be about how I should win the lottery.
