Kemp Alderman, OF, Ole Miss– Big, strong and very athletic at 6-foot-3, 240 pounds, one could easily envision Alderman running a Dig route over the middle on the gridiron for Lane Kiffin’s Rebels’ squad. Instead the right handed slugger had an outstanding fall, batting close to .500 while continuing to show the tool he’s best known for; huge raw power that produces consistent triple digit exit velocities. Alderman also showed more polish at the plate, cutting his strikeouts way down from the 58 that he had in 240 plate appearances last spring. He’s also a 6.7 runner that throws 95+ from the outfield.
