Tom Brennan: The Mets Fan's Antidote

Will Mighty Matt Rudick Be Back in the Line Up Tonight for Binghamton?

Today is the day of the Mets' fan's antidote.

Why so?

Because Binghamton (AA), Brooklyn (High A) and St Lucie (A) all start their seasons TONIGHT!

Starters will be Joander Suarez, looking to pick up where he left off from his brilliant 1.98 ERA second half of 2023; Noah Hall; and Jack Wenninger.

Jack is a 22 year old 6th round righty who fanned 4 in 3.2 innings in 2023 in limited debut action.

Hall was a 7th round (now 23 year old) righty and this will be his pro debut in Wilmington for the Cyclones.

But wait, there's more:

Syracuse plays, too, and so do the NY Mets, who've headed to Ohio.

ME? I WANT WINS TONIGHT. 5 SOUNDS ABOUT RIGHT.

THAT WOULD BE A REAL ANTIDOTE TO THE PAIN OF THE METS' EARLY START TO 2024.
