@redturn2-
- lot of fun tonight!!! 4-0 let's keep it
rolling 2morrow night! And get on
Per Adam Rubin:
Terry Collins plans to rest Ike Davis
on Tuesday, as to not overtax the first baseman, who doctors suspect has a
latent case of valley fever. Davis should get more clarity with respect to the
illness when he visits doctors in New York earlier in the day for a follow-up
test planned since the issue first was flagged in a spring-training physical.
-good move… he’s
getting nothing to hit batting in front of Jason Bay
and a reason to sit him other than saying he’s slumping is a good mover
Ike
Davis:
"Hey," I only
struck out once today. That's something."

have been anxious to get the next game underway.
Terry
Collins:
"I think we want to show our fans that what we
say, maybe there's some truth to it."

Sandy
Alderson had a vision
going into the offseason, and that was to re-shape the Mets’ bullpen. He
planned to do it with a mixture of veterans and youth, acquiring Ramon Ramirez, Jon Rauch and Frank
Francisco while retaining the incumbent relievers he thought showed the
most promise: Tim Byrdak, Manny Acosta, Bobby Parnell and
Miguel Batista. And in the first four games of
the season, each of those hurlers has contributed to the team’s perfect 4-0
start. http://newyork.cbslocal.com/2012/04/10/coutinho-mets-bullpen-continues-to-shine
Matt
Harvey - 5IP, 2R/ER, 4K, BB, 7H. 92/61 pitches. 95-FB
, sharp curve, very cold out
-baseball
needs to keep all ERA/WHIP stats separate for SPs that pitch in games under 40
degrees.
David
Wright’s finger is
broken.
-last
year, when David went down, Zach Lutz was going
to get the call, but was injured the next game…
now… hmm…

I hate the boos for Jason. Save them for a player that doesn't try and stops giving a shit. That hasn't been nor ever will be Jason. If anyone actually reads this who boos Bay, just stop. Please.
Sadly Stephen, this is just the beginning...
Phillies and Yankees fans are, in general, obnoxious pricks, but they have nothing on the Mets fans in the cheap seats.
