3. Brady House, 3B/RHP, Winder-Barrow HS (Ga.)
Depending on who you talk to, House
is either a power-hitting future third baseman or a right-handed pitching
prospect with a ton of arm strength. At the plate, he has 60-grade raw power
with good feel to hit. House plays shortstop now but will likely need to slide
over at the next level. On the mound, the Tennessee recruit has a 92-95 mph
fastball with a good changeup and decent breaking ball.

Christian Little, RHP, Christian Brothers HS (Mo.)
Little is a 6-4, 205-pound
right-handed pitcher who has the potential to be a future top-of-the-rotation
arm in pro ball. He throws a mid-90s fastball, effective curveball and solid
changeup from a clean and easy arm action. He is a Vanderbilt commit.
Baseball Prospect Journal top 2021 high school prospects –
Luke Leto, SS/RHP, Portage Central HS (Mich.)
Leto is a left-handed hitting infielder who uses all parts of
the field. The 6-2, 190-pound prep shortstop has a chance to stick at the
position long term, possessing quickness and a strong, accurate arm. He also
offers intriguing potential on the mound with a fastball that sits in the
low-90s and a hard-breaking curveball. He is a LSU commit.
2. Jack Leiter, RHP,
Vanderbilt
No. 33 on the 2019 Draft Top 200 as a New Jersey prepster
with an advanced feel to pitch, Al’s kid was taken in the 20th round by the
Yankees last year, but everyone knew he was headed to Vandy. He pitched in just
four games before the shutdown, but quickly vaulted to the top of the 2021 list
as a Draft-eligible sophomore with a fastball that averaged around 92 mph and
touched 96, to go along with good feel for a curve, slider and changeup.
Jaden Hill, RHP, LSU
Hill is an intriguing right-handed
pitcher who is 6-4, 215 pounds and offers plenty of potential on the mound. He
has a high-90s fastball, solid changeup and a promising slider.
Hill has only thrown 21 2/3 innings
in his first two years at LSU, missing time his freshman year with a right
elbow strain. He posted a 0.83 ERA with 28 strikeouts and eight walks allowed
in six games over his first two years at LSU.

Hopefully we are picking last in next years draft? If so I hope someone really talented drops to us with the 30th pick?
Zozo
Not if you average 4 errors a game, right?
Seriously, the last pick is the 39th best ballplayer in the nation. That is still a real good one.
Some fall to the 2nd round because they are projected to be a lousy fielding first baseman.
The draft is a very enjoyable crap shoot.
Draft Leiter so we can have a Lighter Nite at Citifield. Arsonists will become Mets fans.
Some good talent there.
I wonder what they have done with Tylor Megill?
