Georgia LHP Ryan Webb has made massive strides in velocity and vertical break this fall, and will likely be a weekend starter for the Dawgs in 2021. Huge riser on draft boards recently, and likely early round pick in the 2021

LHP Ryan Webb will be one of the first college LHP off the board in the 2021 Draft. FB sitting 92-95 T96, while holding velo late in outing this fall. IVB averaging over 20” and nearly 2500rpm of efficient spin. Pairs w/ a high spin, high 70s CB and above avg. CH

Webb had big, big interest in the 2020 MLB Draft. Number was said to be a little too high, but there were teams that had a 2nd round grade on him. Stuff was ticking up in a shortened season. If he gets the innings in 2021, he could be a Top 50 pick.

6-foot-1, 196-pound southpaw has a FB touching 94-95 mph. Curveball, changeup, slider/cutter secondaries. Curveball is 75-80 mph with depth, while the slider is thrown in the 81-84 mph range with less movement but could be an above-average or better offering. Gyro heavy slider. Changeup gives him a fourth average offering in the 82-84 mph with fade. Primarily a reliever in college, the arsenal and ticking fastball/slider combo may encourage a team to push him into a rotation role. There was plenty of interest for Webb in the 2020 draft, though his number was reportedly a little too rich for some teams. That may change with a bigger sample size and bigger bonus pools in 2021.
