Robbie unimpressive again - I just wonder....has Father Time caught up with him?

A 30 year old Cano would probably be hitting like Barry Bonds against this level of pitching.

Gustavo Nunez, former Binghamton Rumble Pony is the 2B and is raking.

Tom...this guy is going to be an anchor around our necks.

I still can't believe there is no recourse against this. Why can't the contract be voided once you get caught cheating a second time.

Do you think they will try to buy him out of his contract? I can't see a scenario where he stays with the team...do you?

Like John said, if he's not tearing up the winter league how much could he possibly have left?

One would think that a contract that was signed under crooked or illegal stat inflating would be challengable. But, it states a player will play for your team; never says a player will perform well. Nor does a player legally have to.

Guys, all I can say is they negotiated a reduced deal with Cespedes. I'd love to see that happen with Cano. But they'd, among other things, have to be careful not to develop an "anti-Latino" image. They also chose to not sign Baez. Still, I'd love to see Cano get a 50% discount. His contract may well have been signed under false pretenses.
