A tragic day in Pennsylvania, with an extraordinary near miss. In baseball, the Mets roll on. Win today, and take advantage of playing 1963 Mets, a team that good teams beat the crap out of. I am grown to love Jose Butto and Neal Nunez. Glad Dedniel is succeeding, extraordinary.
Nimmo and Lindor fabulous. Scott could have gone 5, but served up a big fat hanging meatball in the 5th. Too many HRs, Chris.
Quintana today…finish the sweep against the 1963 Mets and go into the break scorching.
Senga…with that 400 inning #, if his rehabber today goes well, he should say, I am ready, and pitch for the Mets next Saturday. An opt out may be something he wants, so he can join LAD, the west coast Tokyo affiliate, after 2025, and make lots more $.
I added this in a comment about Kellum Clark yesterday:
Kellum Clark, 20th rounder in 2023, got promoted to Brooklyn on June 5. He proceeded to go 4 for 48 there from early June thru early July - bad - but walked 18 times. Wow.
Time to give up? Nope. Last 4 games, 9 for 14 and 2 walks. So he has a .424 OBP in just 85 Brooklyn plate appearances despite a 4 for 48 stretch. Wow.

A hard day indeed my friend. May God bless us all.

A 6’3” lefty hitting OF.
- worth watching.
It doesn't matter who you plan on voting for.
I watched JFK being shot
I watched RFK being shot
I was ordered to cue up the dirge when Reagan was shot
This kind of shit doesn't hack it
We live in “interesting” times. Some would suggest the End Times,
The maturation of Alvarez and Vientos has made all the difference in the world.
