I agree with your predictions about the April-June offense, except for Alonso. My gut tells me he's gone. So, who plays first? Clifford isn't ready. Vientos has very little time spent there

I don't know.

Mack, I just watched Moneyball last night. Hatteburg was a catcher by trade, but can no longer catch. Billy Beane turned him into his first baseman. Vientos better be taking daily reps at first base this off season. If he has any sense at all.

I know fans are ok signing a couple other veteran 1B options but I say if its not Pete they may go Vientos and pray for Ryan Clifford.

Tom, I saw Moneyball Monday night!! I was looking for it because I was in the mood, and I enjoyed it again. Didn’t know that Paul DePodesta was the whiz kid in real life.

Agreed.
1. Vientos should be sleeping with a 1B mitt under his pillow.

2. Should also be down in Florida learning the position.

3. Begging Keith to teach him how to play 1B.
