AAA – Buffalo:
RHP Collin McHugh is making his fifth start as a Bison and
his first against the IL North division. McHugh is coming off his best start
with Buffalo, a no-decision last Tuesday where he struck out a season-high 10
batters in six innings of work.
Collin McHugh - So Matt Harvey had more followers
than me in roughly 15 minutes. If you need me or my ego, we'll be unavailable
for the foreseeable future

AA-Binghamton:
RHP Gonzalez Germen (4-6, 4.03) makes his tenth start as a
B-Met and third against the Curve. Germen suffered the loss in his last start
versus Altoona on July 2. The righty allowed five runs (three earned) and
matched a season-high with eight hits allowed over seven innings. He fanned six
and walked two. The righty beat the Curve on June 15. Germen was promoted from
St. Lucie (High-A) on May 4 after going 3-0 with a 3.04 ERA in five games (four
starts) with St. Lucie.
RHP Brandon Cumpton (8-6, 3.13) takes the mound for his
17th start and third against the B-Mets. Cumpton took a no-decision in his last
game versus Binghamton on July 3. He allowed one run on four hits over five
innings in a game the B-Mets would win 3-2. Cumpton matched up against Germen
on June 15 and earned the loss, allowing four runs on six hits over 5.1 innings. Selected in the
9th round of the 2010 draft out of Georgia Tech, he is in his first year with
the Curve.

in a couple more AA starts before moving him to AAA, but promotion soon

RP Chason Bradford (1.60) remains one of the best kept
secret. This is a 35th round draft pick out of Central Florida where
he also came out of the pen. Had 21 outings last year with Kingsport – 3.51,
33.1-IP, 37-K, 7-BB. This year in
Savannah: 31.1-IP, 26-K, 7-BB. Turns 23
next month.
