Less than 24 hours after racking up double-digit runs and hits against Portland, the Binghamton Mets picked up right where they left off Wednesday afternoon, rolling to a 10-4 win over the Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field. The victory ended a seven-game road trip for the B-Mets (8-6), who will open a seven-game home stand Thursday night, when they host New Hampshire at NYSEG Stadium. First baseman Nick Evans, the reigning Eastern League Hitter of the Week, led the latest offensive outburst for Binghamton, going 4-for-5 with two doubles, two RBIs and a run. He got the scoring started early, doubling home leadoff hitter Kirk Nieuwenhuis for the first of Binghamton's four first-inning runs. - link
