Cutnpaste: - Josh Thole, Ryan Fraser, F-Mart, Tejada... and Johan

Josh Thole:

link  - Josh Thole, C, Grade C: .267/.353/.430 for Buffalo, .294/.400/.373 in the majors. I think he's a .260-.280 hitter with a decent OBP but no power.

Ryan Fraser:

8-7 from: - link  - Fraser is tied for fourth in the league with seven saves. He has an 0.43 ERA in 16 games, all in relief. In 21.0 innings, Fraser has allowed just eight hits and two runs (one earned), while striking out 28 batters. Opponents are hitting .119 against him, lowest in the league. Ryan-- a 21-year-old native of Cleveland, TN -- was selected by the Mets in the 16th round of the 2010 June First-Year Player Draft, out of the University of Memphis (TN).

Fernando Martinez:

link  - In terms of position players , outfielder Fernando Martinez could be on the block... Once indispensable, Fernando Martinez and his future with the Mets is in question. Still a good all-around lefty bat in the outfield, F-Mart has been bitten by the injury bug this year and it has really seemed to put a damper on his development. If he continues to show a lack of durability, the Mets will show a lack of interest in him and consider moving him.

Ruben Tejada:

link  - It may be asking a lot for Tejada to be like Edgardo  Alfonzo (the best offensive second baseman the Mets have ever had) offensively, but even just getting to the level of Felix Millan or Doug Flynn (a couple of Gold Glove-caliber notable names from the past) would do wonders for his value. For now, we'll just watch along with the Mets as this 20-year-old prodigy tries to figure things out. Hopefully by October, our answers to the "Showalter Test" will be a little more well-defined.

Johan Santana:

link  - The woman who told authorities in Lee County, Fla., that Johan Santana raped her last year has filed a civil suit that claims the Mets’ ace tore off her clothes and sexually assaulted her on a Fort Myers golf course in October, according to the woman’s lawyers. The woman’s attorneys, John Clune and Michael Dolce, told the Daily News that the lawsuit was filed Tuesday in Lee County, Fla., state court. A statement released in conjunction with the lawsuit says the woman, identified as “Jane Doe,” became pregnant as a result of the alleged attack but had a miscarriage. “I had thought I was going to play tennis with a man who up to that point had been nothing but friendly to me and my kids,” said the woman, who identifies herself as a 35-year-old single mother of two. “After 10 months of emotional turmoil from the assault, losing the baby and watching him go unprosecuted, I have realized this difficult step is the only way Mr. Santana will be held accountable.” Santana, who is married, has acknowledged that he had sex with the woman on a Fort Myers golf course on Oct. 27, 2009, but claimed the tryst was consensual. Lee County authorities declined to file charges against Santana because they said there was no evidence a crime had been committed
