WooHoo!!!! I love this move...Chris Young pitched EXTREMELY well for us until he got hurt again. IMO this was a no brainer to at least bring him back on a super cheap minor league deal. I've heard that he would be ready to go by late May-ish.
So if he's ready at the end of May, and all our starters are still healthy, who gets bumped? Try to trade Pelfrey, or cut him if he's still pitching like he has this spring? Send Gee back to AAA?
If everyone is pitching well then keep Young in AAA until he's needed this is the beauty of a minor league contract. Its cheap and he's not on the 40 man.

The only positive spin I can put on this move is that it gives us a leg up on re-signing him for 2013 if he proves healthy by then.

should be May... I love it to because it slows down the demand on the prospects

I think what you want here is for everyone to pitch well, and Pelfry gets traded for C-prospect
Erik-
