What Met SS problem? Tejada and Quint on 5 times. Disturbingly, Grandy, Ike and Darn No all went hitless and combined are hitting about .135. Hey, and an Eric (the Hitting Machine) Campbell pinch double. I'd rather have him in OF than Grandy. Call me crazy.
Well, here's the deal... the slate is clean in 2 weeks, so, if today was opening day, Tejada would be leading the league in hitting.
d'Arnaud, Granderson, and Davis are going to have around 300+ at-bats between now and the end of the year to prove they are the right players.
If not, Recker can stand in until Plawecki is ready, Puello will be up and Duda can take over.
