It's sort of funny that the Mets drafted Jordan. This is the guy that cleaned Kumar Rocker's clock with three hits in Rocker's final college start in the finals of the College World Series.
No one ever doubted his ability to hit. Is he major league material?

Jordan has started 201 of 208 games he has played over his college career, posting a .311 average, 243 hits, 54 doubles, five triples and 23 home runs. He made it to home base 185 times with 137 RBI, also with a .974 fielding rate in the outfield with only nine errors.

During the College World Series, the native of Auburn, Alabama, hit .303 with 10 hits, two doubles, four runs scored and two RBIs. He ended his three trips to the CWS with 15 career hits, which is tied with Allen for the most in program history.
In his four years with MSU, Jordan played in 208 games with 201 starts. He hit .311 and racked up 243 hits, 185 runs and 137 RBIs. He will join former Bulldogs Jake Mangum, JT Ginn and Cole Gordon as members of the Mets’ farm system.
