Nick Morabito is getting it D..O..N..E

Nick’s stat page lists him as a shortstop, but he is not that…he is a CF.

You haven’t heard much about Nick because, after his demitasse-sized cup of coffee season in 2022, he played less than 60 games this year split between the FCL and for the St. Lucie Mets. 

That is a bummer, because when he has played, he has been impressive:

209 at bats, .309, 25 RBIs, 21 steals. 

And take out his slow 3 for 21 season start; he hit .325 the rest of the way.

20 years old until mid-May next year. So he is young, son.

I expect more power, and he is sure-handed defensively and compiled 9 career outfield assists in just 51 OF games.

Lots of good minor league hitters in Metsville after the trade season, but could Morabito be another Pete Crow Armstrong? Pete was called up this week, FYI. By the Cubs. Not the Mets.

Hope Morabito is the next Crow. Morabito should be ready in 2026. In he starts getting 500 plate appearances a year.

”‘ nuf said.”  All ya gotta say is Joey. The guy with the 2.83 Mets ERA.

Joey took it into the 8th in a 7-1 win.

Dude is brilliant. You may not be. He is, though.

Management was not too Brilliant keeping him in Syracuse so much.

I don’t see any other 2.83 ERAs around, do you?

For the record, the Mets pitchers hit no one. Mets have been hit 97 times, while Mets pitchers have hit just 76. 

Baltimore hitters, by comparison? 41 HBP.

Guillorme hitless again. Snoring.

Christian Scott pitched well for 2.2 shutout innings. I guess he was pulled early to have him well rested and ready for the playoffs next week. The playoffs that Binghamton should WIN.
