1999: After being aired on WOR, Channel 9 since the team's inception in 1962, Mets games this season will broadcast by WPIX, Channel 11. The Yankees games, which had aired for nearly 50 years on the Amazins' new station, will now be seen on Channel 5, a Fox affiliate.

Mets pretty fortunate to find an unemployed GM in Eppler. O’Dowd also available, but doesn’t get much love. Why is Eppler tutoring Tim Scott? Is Scott the next GM? What happened to Billy Owens?

Don’t really mind losing out on Hand or Springer, but I’d like to prefer to miss on Bauer and use his money to sign Syndergaard and Stroman long term.

For everyone who says that the Mets can’t trade Alonso, his .235 second half 2019 and his .231 in 2020 show a problem. He says that he wants to be a complete hitter but...Looks like a #5 or even #6 hitter to me. That has value too, but with shaky defense I would see what teams are offering.

Agreed Gus on all of the above. Today on MLB Network radio Steve Phillips was suggesting trading JD and Dom for Sonny Gray and Suarez.

No thank you. Dom should be the First Baseman going forward. A team can only have so many K prone all or nothing hitters in the lineup.
