Whitey Herzog and Fonzie had the right idea. Fill the lineup with speedsters - get them on - get them over - get them in.
The all or nothing - K or HR approach is prone to slumps. In the Mets case it has lasted all year.
A win is a win . .not pretty, but it got done.
