Buffalo lost a tough one, 5-4, to Gwinnett.
SP Larry Broadway had another… err… Larry Broadway outing. 5.2 IP, 4 ER, 2 K, 3 BB, ERA now 6.03… I really was happy the Mets signed Broadway, and I was also happy that they returned him to the starting rotation. I’m not particularly happy about his results so far this year, but since no one is ready to come up from AA, I hope they keep him in the ration in case the spark comes back.
RP Kyle Snyder (3.91) threw 2.1 scoreless innings.
No big hitters in this game, and frankly, no future Mets playing either. I just don’t understand the Omar philosophy for a AAA team. Are you just suppose to dump a bunch of salary on players who didn’t make the cut?
