Round 19 - CF - Dustin Lawley

2011: All-GSC first team... GSC Player of the Week (3/22)... converted third baseman playing in center field for the first time in 2011... entered postseason ranked sixth in the GSC in RBIs and fourth in stolen bases. 2010: Started 47 games at third base while batting .370 in his first season at West Florida ... first Team All-Gulf South Conference selection ... tallied 68 hits, 12 doubles and four home runs with 36 RBIs ... finished the season with an 18-game hitting streak ... led the team with 22 multiple-hit games and totaled eight multiple-RBI games ... drove in a run with a run scored while going 2-4 at the plate on Opening Day against Montevallo (2/2) ... went 3-5 while scoring twice and driving in a run at No. 1 Florida Southern (2/28) ... recorded two RBIs in a 2-3 effort at the plate in an 8-7 game three loss to No. 1 Florida Southern (2/28) ... batted .500 (5-10) with two doubles, four RBIs and five runs scored over a six-game stretch which included games against North Alabama and Arkansas Tech (3/20-24) ... went 3-5 with three RBIs, including a go-ahead two-run home run in the top of ninth to give UWF a 6-5 victory over West Georgia (3/27) ... named GSC Player of the Week, batting .615 (13-24) with eight RBIs and six runs scored (3/30) ... led the team with a five-RBI performance and 3-5 effort at the plate in a 15-4 win over Columbus State (4/21). - http://www.goargos.com/profile.asp?playerID=1184 

West Florida third baseman/outfielder Dustin Lawley (SR, 6-0, 190, Bessemer, AL)

- Lawley earns his second career laurel and is the second UWF winner in three weeks. The senior led the Argonauts to a 6-0 week, posting a .450 average and a 1.050 slugging percentage. Lawley went 9-for-20 for the week and hit multiple times in four games, while hitting three homeruns, one double, one triple and seven RBI. The Bessemer, AL native accounted for three RBI thanks to one triple and one homerun in an 8-6 triumph over Division I Mississippi Valley State.
