Round 31: - SS - Chad Zurcher

Zurcher appears on the C-USA All-Academic Team for the second-straight season. The Knoxville, Tenn., native is a seven-time member of the Tiger 3.0 Club, a five-time Dean's List honoree and a four-time C-USA Commissioner's Honor Roll award winner. Zurcher graduated with a degree in management and recorded a 3.613 grade-point average. As the nation's leading hitter, Zurcher has helped the U of M to a league best .306 batting average. Zurcher has two or more hits in 28 of 52 games and is second on the club with 18 doubles. University of Memphis infielder Chad Zurcher was named one of 30 semifinalists for the prestigious Golden Spikes Award (GSA), as announced by USA Baseball on Tuesday. Zurcher, the Conference USA Player of the Year, finished the season with the nation's best average of .443.
