returns to the line-up for the first time since May of last year as the Mets

Unless my memory is playing tricks on me, I “saw” Tommie Agee’s upper deck shot at Shea at my Aunt Mary’s during Easter Vacation on a 9 inch B&W TV with rabbit ears. They televised ALL the games back then, but failed to keep the clip. If Pete had been on that team, he would have been obsessed to try to match his feat. Good luck. That was a freak shot. Made it a few rows back.
I was up in that area a few years later. The Giants’ Dave Kingman hit a similar shot. We thought it would reach us, but only made the next level down. Agee had real power but that HR was a total freak shot. I will bet no one ever hit one up there in BP.
Way to go Taiwan. I hope your decision doesn't come back to bite you in the 屁股.

My question is about something I debated with someone earlier this week. Should baseball sit out the season on the basis that health is more important, or should it try to come to life to provide a distraction for the average person that may be in a depression mode of sorts based on our circumstances and being locked in the house?

don't recall the $s, but MLB makes an awful lot of money from local and national TV and radio contracts. if they could get the players to accept a percentage of the receipts, I think they could make a go of it. and maybe they'd bring in some new fans, who don't have a awful lot to do right now.
