52. Jesus Feliciano – OF – AAA – 31/yrs.
Feliciano was originally drafted bythe Los Angeles Dodgers in the 36th round of the 1997 draft.
He played five and a half years in the Dodgers organization, rising to the AA level in both 2002 and 2003. His best year was 2000, in A+ ball, where he hit .289/.340/.336/.676.
From there, Feliciano played for Tampa Bay (2003-2004), Washington (2005-2006) and eventually signed with the Mets in 2007.
The three years Feliciano has played in the Mets organization have produced three +.300 seasons, all at the AAA level:

From: http://www.baseballworld.com/: - The New York Mets today announced that OF Jesus Feliciano was named the organization’s Sterling Award Winner for the Buffalo Bisons, emblematic of the Most Valuable Player on the team. Each year, the Mets announce an organizational player and pitcher of the year as well as awards for MVP on each of their nine affiliated clubs in the minor league system. 1B Ike Davis of Binghamton (AA)/St. Lucie (A) was the organizational Player of the Year while RHP Jeurys Familia of Savannah (A) was the Mets minor league Pitcher of the Year. Feliciano, 30, was also awarded the Bisons Stan Barron Most Valuable Player after a stellar campaign in 2009. The outfielder led all International League hitters with 154 base hits, tied for the 5th highest single-season total in the Bisons modern era. Feliciano hit .311 (154-495)(5th highest in the IL) with 30 doubles, one home run and 42RBI in a team-high 130 games with the Bisons in 2009. He also led the club with 13 stolen bases and eight outfield assists
Forecast:
We can assume that Feliciano will be back in the Buffalo outfield in 2010. You can’t release a Sterling winner, can you? That being said, I can’t see any future for him in Queens. The Mets want pop in the outfield and they already have another Feliciano named Angel Pagan. Look for him to lead off for the Bisons come spring.
