An outcome closely resembling a Met-Cardinal game. Pitching was weak. Jayce Boyd's 15th double of the season so far, which is impressive. Could he be being groomed to replace John Mayberry in 2016?

Conforto broke a 3 all tie in the top of the 9th with his blast into the seats.
Akeel Morris got the save, but made an error to start the 9th, then after a sac bunt to 2nd, allowed a line single to center. The runner was gunned down at the plate, and Morris retired the final batter for the save. Morris' streak of outs without allowing a hit ended at 38. Congrats on an amazing streak.

Brad is beginning to dominate, and he has been a strikeout machine this year and last. Despite solid starts this year, Wieck picked up just his first win against 4 losses. Luis and Jonathan are doing a great job setting the tables for the rest of the hitters on this team.
GOATS: The Binghamton pitchers, including starter Gabe Ynoa, who has been mostly disappointing this year.

Conforto's homer, his first since April 26, was to the opposite field with 2 outs and 2 strikes in the 9th. Nice to see that kind of clutch at bat from a guy we hope is a future mainstay.
Yeixon Ruiz also deserved special mention. The slight, 24 year old had played almost all outfield this year after an error-filled run in the infield.
Besides his 3 hits last night, he channeled his inner Juan Lagares in CF to cut down whatxwould have been the tying runner at the plate in the 9th.
