Thursday Afternoon in Milwaukee, Jacob deGrom continued his pattern of dominance; the Mets snap their 7 game losing streak with a 2-0 win at Miller Park.  deGrom and Brewer starter Taylor Jungmann pitched to a scoreless tie through 5 complete. In the 6^th the Mets got to Jungmann’s relief Michael Blazek when Wilmer Flores double down the left field line scored Michael Cuddyer.  In the 7^th Lucas Duda’s  grounder ricocheted off lefty Will Smith to score deGrom with the 2^nd run and it was 2-0. deGrom had his best outing of the year going 8 innings allowing just 4 hits while striking out 7. He gets the win improving to 8-5 while dropping his era to 2.15. Jeurys Familia pitched the 9^th for this 20^th save.  Blazek takes the loss, he’s now 4-2. The Mets amassed 10 hits on the day, Granderson led the way going 3 for 5. Terry Collins was ejected from the game in the 4th inning. With the win the Mets end their 7 game slide as they go 1-7 on this road trip. They are 11-26 on the road and overall are back at .500 at 37-37. Friday night it’s back home to the friendly confines of Citi Field.  Noah Syndergaard (2-4 4.03) goes for the Mets, Johnny Cueto (4-4 2.98) goes for Cincinnati.
