I will start

These are grown men that aren't in full shape for, no less this schedule, than these infantile celebrations that add injury to insult.

Have always thought these celebrations bush league. Have always thought this tournament a waste for major leaguers.

We're not in the shoes of young men who grew up in poverty but with a love of the game. Their escape from their poverty and leap to become famous and wealthy came from baseball.

They love their native countries, and once every 4 years get the opportunity to represent them. We have nothing comparable in the United States. If they want to celebrate winning a preliminary series by jumping into the air, they've earned that right.

I agree that the pre-season is a bad time to stage a WBC tournament, but the players don't make that decision. Freak injuries in post-game celebrations occur rarely, and conditioning would do little to nĂ²thing to prevent injuries.
