Ronny Cedeno apparently is heading to the DL according to Rubin...however I dont see how bringing up Valdespin is a good move. He needs to play everyday and to get more reps in CF.
There's no spot other than the bench for him right now. Unless TC plans to platoon him and Kirk in CF. But again with EXTREMELY limited time in CF this is still a bad move.
As for Hefner being on the "taxi squad" I would much rather have him start tonight's 2nd game rather than Batista.
I have no idea what is going on
It could be possible that Hefner will be activated today and "piggyback" start with Batista in Game 2. THEN Batista will be outrighted to Buffalo and Valdespin will be activated.
