The Mets are ranked # 17 on SI's MLB Power Rankings though only 5 teams have
more wins and 7 teams have less losses. Didn't former Giants' coach Bill Parcells say you
are as good as your record? I guess not when it comes to the Mets...and Rodney Dangerfield turns over in his grave once again (remember- he DID throw out the first pitch on Second Opening Day a number of times!) I guess we should be used to this by now- after all, we ARE constantly rated as having one of the worst farm systems in the game...
