Incomplete report.... fell ill last night... my apologies.
Mets:

Yanks signed ex-met John Maine to a minor league deal

Mets option LHP Robert Carson to Binghamton

Mets promote RHP Jack Egbert from Buffalo

Mets Release D.J. Carrasco

(another great move by Sandy… if you’re not part of the future, you’re not part of the solution… I really don’t care how much his severance check is for… hasta la vista, DJ)

P Gaby Hernandez signed with Arizona

P Eric Beaulac signed with Baltimore

OF Tillman Pugh signed with CWS

OF Cory Aldridge signed with LAA

Time Warner looking to purchase Bleacher Report… Mack’s Mets is next…

AAA-Buffalo:

Mets release Triple-A Buffalo 2B Bobby Scales

RP Pedro Beato to Buffalo rehab assignment

I had really hoped that Jeurys Familia was going to put together a gem, but it just wouldn’t be, Gave up 4-ER in the first two innings (4.98)…

AA-Binghamton:

Darin Gorski is proving this year that it is always all about AA. Last year was such a cake walk, but we’ve seen that so many times below this level. You’re playing against the crème of past year’s A+, A, and Rookie ball teams and there’s no free pass here.

A+ - St. Lucie: -

CF Darrell Ceciliani activated…

Juan Torres laying 1B…

Chris Young did pitch rehab tonight (I had heard he had the night off but that was wrong)… 6.1-IP, 5-H, 3-ER, 1-KK, 0-BB, 3.18… not dominate but doesn’t suck either…

Adam Kolarek (1.96) gets 6th save

Wilmer Flores hit his 8th homer…

Robbie Shields‏- 3 hits…

God is good! Thanks for another day

A – Savannah:

Mets RHP Rafael Montero opened eyes with his command of a low-90s fastball in short-season ball last year, and he's carried that up to his first full year with low Class A Savannah at age 21. Montero leads the South Atlantic League in walks per nine innings (1.22) and ranks fourth in WHIP (0.97). He dropped his ERA to 2.64 with six shutout innings against Augusta on Sunday, allowing only one hit and striking out five to go with two walks

Big time pitching duel between Kyle Crick and Michael Fulmer

Fulmer – 4.0-IP, 5-H, 1-R, 4-K, 3-BB, 3.74

Another loss caused by a late error (Greg Pron)

Marcos Camerena continues to be used successfully as a long man – 1.05 ERA.

Gilbert Gomez only 1-4, ‘slumps’ to .500

A – Brooklyn:

In his last 10 games in Extended ST, Brandon Nimmo is hitting .375/.500/.469
