"I've already cleaned out this office out and we're starting fresh," Teufel said Tuesday from his NYSEG Stadium office, moments after a personal workout and moments before his team's workout. "I don't know what happened here in the past. I don't know what was the whole scenario up here, but all I know is what I can bring. And that's a level of excitement, a level of commitment to play the game the right way and let the talents show. That's the platform I bring."

That Teufel has a lot of familiar faces around him here is a testament to what he brings. As manager of the High-A St. Lucie Mets for the past two seasons, Teufel has already coached more than half of the current B-Mets.
