Tobi Stoner started 2009 on the disabled list, then traveled from Binghamton to Buffalo and, finally, Citi Field in Queens. He got four chances to pitch in relief for the New York Mets and plenty of chances to pick some brains while sitting in the big club's bullpen.

The 25-year-old right-hander will be the Opening Night starter for the Buffalo Bisons when they play the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees at PNC Field in Moosic, Pa. (7 p.m., Radio 1520).
