TODAY’S GAME: Tonight, the Bisons face the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees in the second game of a four-game series from PNC Field (7:05 p.m.). The Yanks won the series and season opener with a 1-0 victory last night. After Sunday, the Bisons will travel to Syracuse for a two-game set against the Chiefs. Wednesday is the team’s Home Opener against the Pawtucket Red Sox.

R.A. IS A-OKAY: RHP R.A. DICKEY will make his Bisons debut with his start tonight. The knuckleballer was signed as a free agent this season after spending most of 2009 with Minnesota. Dickey was 1-1 with a 4.62ERA in 35 games and one start with the Twins. A former first round pick of the Rangers (1996), Dickey was also 2-1 with a 5.13ERA in fives starts with Rochester in ‘09.

WE LIKE IKE: It was a smashing Bisons debut for INF IKE DAVIS. The 23-year old had three hits, including a pair of doubles in his first taste of Triple-A pitching. Davis had 31 doubles last season, split between St. Lucie (A) and Binghamton (AA). Between the two spots, Davis hit .298 with 20 home runs and 71RBI as the Mets Sterling Organizational Player of the Year.

METS UPDATE: The New York Mets (1-2) lost to Florida last night, 3-1, from Citi Field. The Marlins took two of three from New York in the first series of the season. Former Bisons’ LHP JONATHON NIESE took the loss, despite allowing just three runs in six innings of work. It was Niese’s first action since his gruesome hamstring injury on August 5. The Mets host Washington tonight at 7:10 p.m.
