The B-Mets jumped all over Long Island-native Joe Esposito in the first inning. Matt den Dekker led off with a solo homer over the right-centerfield wall. It was his third homer in his last four at-bats. Two batters later, Josh Satin ripped a one-out double down the left-field line. Allan Dykstra followed with his second homer in as many games to put Binghamton ahead 3-0.
Jordany Valdespin added on to the lead in the third inning with the first of his two solo homers, a no-doubt bomb to right.
Meanwhile, Collin McHugh faced the minimum through the first three innings. In the fourth, Freddy Galvis led off with a double off the right field wall. Two batters later, Matt Rizzotti drove in the R-Phils only run with a single to right, cutting the deficit to three.
Binghamton (40-59) issued a rebuttal in the fifth and knocked Esposito out of the game. The starter exited after walking den Dekker to start the inning. Chris Kissock replaced him and promptly hit Valdespin with a pitch. Satin followed with an RBI single to center to push the lead back four.
Esposito was hung with his second loss. He surrendered five earned runs on six hits over four-plus innings. By contrast, McHugh exited to the win after a 1-2-3 fifth inning. He allowed a run on four hits and struck out four for his third win.
The B-Mets added two more runs in the sixth thanks to an RBI single from McHugh and a throwing error by Galvis.
Reading (51-47) was also hapless against reliever Jack Egbert. The right-hander, who was making his Binghamton debut, finished the game with four innings of one-hit relief for the save.
Binghamton put the icing on the cake with three more homers in the ninth inning off southpaw Derrick Loop. Valdespin jumped on the first pitch he saw from the lefty and sent it over the wall in right-center for his 13th homer. Satin followed with a single. After Dykstra fouled out to left, Dusty Ryan poked a two-run blast to left. Brahiam Maldonado rounded out the scoring with a two-out shot to left, his 17th of the season.
Binghamton pounded out 15 hits for the second straight game and has no clocked 55 hits in its last four games.

Starting to look like Jordany is going to be the starting second baseman in '13. If he can just transfer the same numbers as he moves forward, thats one heck of a second baseman. Easier said then done I know.
