Happy Birthday to one of the greatest CFs in Red Sox history, Fred Lynn (@19fredlynn)  - who would have been in the

HOF if he played his entire career in Boston(and wasn’t his fault he didn’t)! A part of arguably the greatest Red Sox

 OF in history!

Is it time for Love for Robbie? I loved the Post article this morning on our international signing's history and where we're at now it's a must read.

Thanks Gary

Gary, we've been saying it on this site all along - the Mets' farm system may not be deep, but the top several guys probably are the equal (or very close to it) of any other team in baseball - and it I had a choice of more depth or several star possibilities and an otherwise awful system, I choose the latter.

What we haven't gotten much of, other than high first rounders like Nimmo, Smith, Alonso and Conforto, and a surprise like McNeil, are HITTERS.

I think the Alvarez/Vientos/Baty/Mauricio/Ramirez quintet is pretty darned exciting.

Can someone on your team come up with a starting rotation and batting order in Syracuse if a lockout is still on come the beginning of April.
Thanks

Raw, hopefully our John from Albany sees your comment and can put something together using his Mets minors expertise.

Hi Tom,

Can you please pass it on to him. I thought it would be a nice exercise to do in these lockout times. I have already done my own and I wanted to compare,
Thanks.

I read someone on the internet the MLB teams are already thinking this way.

I wonder if SNY will televise 'Cuse games if the MLB season is delayed.

Raw. I am working on projected Minor League roster for the top 4 teams per Mack's direction. I keep hoping the lockout will end as a number of players on th 40 man will be in Syracuse or Binghamton.
