David Peterson tells me he is 100% healthy coming off foot surgery and will be ready for spring training (whenever the lockout ends). We spoke about how he will approach competing for a spot in the Mets’ rotation during camp, among other things

Robinson Canó has been named a Caribbean Series All-Star.

He's hitting .450/.593/.600 in six games as the Dominican Republic heads into the championship game tonight vs Colombia,

Might as well promote it since the 2022 season for MLB is in doubt.

Any players @MLBPA , are more than welcome to join the Luke League, hosted by @lukeesimons .  Serious inguires only, and free water to all players that join. Must be a prospect, current, or former MLB player.

Wanna be a great hitter?

Down pointing backhand index

Don't miss or take pitches that are supposed to get crushed! When the pitcher is nice enough to miss a spot & leave one up out over the plate, you better be nice enough to demolish that sucker on the barrel!

Don’t count out Cano just yet! The guy was a borderline HoF er and he’s a hitter. He gets first crack at DH and plays 2B if McNeil is traded. Expect a big year, 290,20,80. A playoff year?

Boy, Koos, .290, 20, 90?

Steamer and ZIPa agree with you that he is not washed up, but the average of the two has him at:

92 games, 10 HRs, 40 RBIs, .260. That feels more right to me.

Basically, what we got from Dom Smith last year, which no one seemed thrilled about.

Mack, nice snippets.

Can I sign up for that indy league? They might need a crafty lefty.

You get 60 pitches

Might as well roll with Cano out of camp and see what happens.

I say if you have to pay him you have to play him

And still the best second baseman on the team

Mack, give me 60 pitches, I'm on my way to Cooperstown (how much does a ticket cost there?)
