Good report, Ernest. The Mets minors is BURSTING with pitching, "like nothing we have ever seen, frankly."
It’s pretty clear that Stearns envisions a starting rotation filled with home grown talent by ‘28 with maybe one ace brought in as a FA or via trade. Next year’s SP FA class is far superior to this year’s, so I’m not expecting any longer-term signings this offseason.
