Michael Robert Lamb – 3B/1B – 6-1 185 L R 8-9-75 Cal State Fullerton
Lamb was drafted in the 7th round of the 1997 draft by Texas. Baseball America ranked him the 71st overall prospect in 2007, and the 4th on Texas.
He has played nine seasons in the majors, for Texas, Houston, Minnesota, and Milwaukee, batting a combined .277/.333/.417/.750.
Lamb signed a 2-year deal with Minnesota for the 2007-2008 seasons; however, in August 2008 he was DFAd. He was formally released in September and signed the next day with Milwaukee. He once again went the free agent route and signed to play the 2008 season with the Brewers, but played sporadically.
His last full season was 2007, where, in 311 at bats, he hit .289/.366/.453/.819
