Lynn was drafted by the Mets in the 30th round of the 2008 draft.
His last year stats at the College of Charleston, according to the school web site, were: 4.71 ERA 49.2IP 48H 22BB 43K .250 BAA
He was assigned to Brooklyn after signing with the Mets, which he pitched in four games. He also pitched in one game for the GCLMets.

First up, Clones reliever Mike Lynn, who never got a chance to get going due to a few arm injuries. Humble and good-natured, Lynn was a fun guy to talk to and in this mid-July interview, he vents about his injuries and his first pro season in Brooklyn.
Dem Brooklyn Bums: How has Brooklyn been treating you so far?
Mike Lynn: I’ve been dealing with a bunch of injuries, but it’s been a really good experience. Playing here in Brooklyn is second to none and something you really appreciate it when you go on the road. We have 8,000 fans here every night and you go to some other places and they barely have a thousand; it just doesn’t compare.
Lynn pitched for both Savannah and Brooklyn in 2009 and combined for some excellent stats: 1-2, 2.29, in 19 appearances, 33-K, 35-1-IP, 12-BB, 0-HR. He has pitched seven times for Savannah this season and did not give up a run.
His combined 2-year, minor league stats are: 1-3, 2.63, 1.24, in 24 appearances. He also has 39-K in 41.0-IP.
From: www.dembrooklynbums.com in July 2009: - Spending the majority of last season on the shelf following suffering an arm injury, Clones’ reliever Mike Lynn is ready to get back into the swing of things. As a matter of fact, he’s pretty antsy. Working hard all offseason, Lynn has put his hard luck rookie campaign behind him and is focused on excelling in ‘09. “I had surgery in September,” he said. “Some bone spurs and scar tissues in my elbow. It wasn’t a serious surgery, but I did need about six months to rehab it. It feels good to finally be healthy.” Being used in a seventh inning relief role so far this season, the Louisville-native is happy to have an opportunity to prove himself and has responded marvelously, hurling three scoreless innings in two appearances this season. With an added confidence and comfort in ‘09, Lynn has set some lofty goals for the team- a NYPL championship.
Forecast (written Sept 09): - Lynn is just starting to get his professional career going in the right direction when he’s about to play next season as a 25-year old. Normally, it would take more than seven relief appearances to get a promotion out of A ball, but in his case, I expect him to start the 2010 season in St. Lucie. A fast start could get him an early promotion to Binghamton.
