Senior All-American Carlos Leyva was announced as a 2011 NCBWA Honorable Mention All-American, as voted upon by members of the National Collegeiate Baseball Writers Association, marking the fourth such honor in his stellar four-year career in Carson. One of the team captains, Leyva established the CCAA and school record for career runs scored, currently at 198.
