WOW! That kid has some power. hopefully he's still around for our 4th pick, but more likely he'll be a 3rd round pick or so in my opinion. I'm with you on Mark Pope with our 101st pick and load up on pitching with atleast 3 of our first 4 picks, with hopefully a catcher being that other pick and then this kid in the 4th round and I'll be happy from there.
Nevermind, I just saw your other post about him possibly going in the 1st or 2nd round. Baseball America had him around 100th rated and he even mentioned going to Junior College if he didn't get a deal he liked. Interesting storyline to pay attention to over the next 2 days.
im so sick of getting these free agents with big bats that dont produce. Lets get a basher folks. Take the best pitcher available with first pick, absolutely, but then take the best bat available with the most upside at 44. we NEED one that will hit behind Davis in three/four years
