Okay, I was
wrong.
In fact, I
was totally wrong.
I wrote a
number of times this off-season that Mets pitcher Johan
Santana would never pitch an inning in another regular season Mets game.
I didn’t say maybe, or I think so, or IMO. No, I said definitely.
Why I said
it is a moot point. What isn’t, is the fact that he will pitch opening day and,
for at least one game, the Mets ship looks on course.
Maybe I should say things like this more often.
Let's see...
The Mets
will never exercise their 2013 option on David Wright plus
they will not sign him to an extension through the 2018 season.
There is no
way in hell that Jason Bay will hit 25 home runs
and knock in 100 ribbys.
