Mets jump out to a 2-0 lead in the 1st on a Michael Cuddyer 2 run Homer. Braves tie it back up in the bottom of the 2nd on an Andrelton Simmons triple. A Daniel Murphy bases loaded sac fly in the top of the 8th, proves to be the winner for the Mets.
ESPN.com: "A rare run-scoring hit from Bartolo Colon helped give the New York Mets a boost going into their home opener. Colon helped himself with his first RBI in a decade, Daniel Murphy hit a tiebreaking sacrifice fly in the eighth inning and the Mets beat Atlanta 4-3 Sunday, sending the Braves to their first loss this season."
The Mets win handed the Braves their first loss of 2015. It also entered the Mets into a tie with the Phillies in 2nd.

This was my time as a Mets reporter
Could walk into this clubhouse and half the names you list here would nod or say hello to me.
I particularly remember a quiet reliever that would spend his off days sitting behind the plate with me while he filled out pitching stats on other poitchers that were, well, pitching.
Jeurys Familia let his pitching do the talking back then and, boy, was he a great reliever and closer.
Shame it didn't last.
Did the Mets ever play a Braves team without Freddy in the lineup?
