Oooo! Can I pick?
Lavarnaway & Ranaudo
Is Chaing really a SS? Tempting.
Mack, Ryan Lavarnaway seems like one of the obvious targets here for multiple reasons. One being he's a catcher that can hit and you and I both know how weak the catching position is in our system. The other is that he went to Yale and we see how important that is to Sandy to bring in smart guys.
My guess is that Sandy is looking for bats, but I would target pitching, specifically Ranaudo and Dubront. I don't think we'll pull 3 prospects back, so Ryan Lavarnaway and Anthony Ranaudo would probably be enough for me, thoughts?
One person told me that Chaing is the guy the Mets want...
Closer:
It's hard for me to pick here because there are so many good players in the Boston system.
My number one pick based on projected ceiling would be Renaudo. He's a future SP1 ace.
Past him, I go with the catcher.
Lavarnaway hit his 7th HR today in 9 games...
