10-14-13 – Top ’14 College Hitters - 7. Alex Blandino / 2B / Stanford — Blandino gets the unfortunate label of a ‘tweener’ — he doesn’t have the athleticism to play shortstop and the bat doesn’t likely play at third — but I certainly think he has the athleticism and offensive ability to be an average to above-average regular at second base. http://mlbdraftinsider.com/2013/10/top-14-for-14-college-hitters/
9-30-13 – TTF Mock 2.0 - 12. Milwaukee Brewers — Nick Gordon, SS/RHP, Olympia HS (FL) The son of Tom “Flash” Gordon, Nick also can sling it on the mound (92 mph) but may have a brighter future at shortstop, where his strong arm, range and instincts will make him one of the better defensive shortstops in the 2014 MLB draft. Offensively, he hits from the left side and projects to a top-of-the-order hitter with speed and a very good approach at the plate. Over 30 games as a junior, he hit .505 with 15 doubles, six triples and 12 stolen bases. Committed to Florida State. http://throughthefencebaseball.com/2014-mlb-mock-draft-2-0-draft-order-set/38280#5E3F5j1jWOgE69bJ.99
9-11-13 - Sully’s 2014 Top 100 MLB HS Draft Prospects – 83. Alex Destino – LHP/OF, North Buncombe (NC) HS http://www.ninebaseball.org/Wordpress/sullys-2014-top-100-mlb-hs-draft-prospects/
9-29-13 – XMLBScout – 14.)RHP, Daniel Mengden, Texas A&M, 6'1 210, R/R, may end up a catcher if pitching don't work out, this kid has a great arm and loves baseball, on the bump he's 92-96 with no fear, also hard slide piece and good control, rushes delivery some from upper 3/4 slot, as a catcher, he's sub 2.0 on pop times and shows good glove skills and does enough behind the dish to be competent defender, will be a below average hitter but enough strength and bat speed to improve further up the ladder. Definitely 1-3 round talk for 2014! http://xmlbscout.angelfire.com/
10-15-13 – Baseball America - 8. Touki Toussaint, rhp, Coral Springs (Fla.) Christian HS: Like Beede, Toussaint shows premium stuff (mid-90s fastball, curve) but struggles to throw strikes at times. http://www.baseballamerica.com/college/2014-draft-top-50-october-2013-carlos-rodon/
