  January 23, 2017 – New York Mets left fielder Yoenis Cespedes was ranked 2nd on MLB Network’s Top 10 Left Fielders Right Now! program yesterday, while Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard was ranked 9th on the Top 10 Starting Pitchers Right Now!. Cespedes finished one spot ahead of the Pirates’ Starling Marte and one spot behind the Brewers’ Ryan Braun. Syndergaard finished one spot ahead of the Diamondbacks’ Zack Greinke and one spot behind the Giants’ Johnny Cueto.
Taking into account player performance over several seasons with an emphasis on 2016, a number of offensive and defensive metrics both advanced and traditional, and projected performance for the upcoming season, MLB Network’s Top 10 Right Now! series ranks the top players at each position heading into the 2017 season.

Yeah OK... I know rankings are subjective but Cespedes behind Braun now? I could see behind Starling Marte and that based on potential ... Cespedes has proven over the past 3 years he is "THE MAN"
And Thor as 9th? Did anyone watch the Wild Card game... At worse he is top 5 and I would argue the order of their Top 5...

Great on the mailing list - I agree it is odd for Cespedes being below Braun.

That top 10 pitching list is AWESOME in terms of talent!
