Mack - New Mets Minor League Players

C Martin Cervenka - Syracuse

Cervenka is 28 years old who came out of the Czech Republic.

Played seven seasons in the Cleveland organization and then three for Baltimore.

Has a .240 batting average over his last nine minor league seasons.

Big power off the bench potential.

Grade 50 fielder and thrower.

 C Deivy Grullon - Syracuse

Grullon was signed as an International free agent out of the Dominican Republic.

The 23-year old batted .253 over seven minor league seasons, with 21 home runs in both 2018 and 2018.

He had nine at-bats for the Phils in 2019 (.111) and three for Boston (.333) in 2020. The Red Sox had claimed him off of waivers.

Bat first not known for his defensive skills. Look of him to pinch hit a lot.

SP Austin Faith - St. Lucie

Faith was signed by the Mets as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

The 22-year old righty was signed out of Lamar University, where he pitched to an 8.79-ERA in four starts in 2020.

He was a transfer from Navarro JC where he went 15-4, 3.48 in two seasons.

RHSP Dylan Hall - St. Lucie

Mountain View HS (TX) grad, and Central Oklahoma ace Dylan Hall was signed by the Mets as an undrafted free agent in 2020.

The 6-5 righty went 4-1, 3.00 for Central Oklahoma and flashed a 95 heater.

This will be his first professional season.

LHRP Cam Opp - St. Lucie

The dual UK-US citizen signed an undrafted free agent contract with the Mets in 2020.

The 5-9 (yes… 5-9) lefty pitched four years for Army and then went on to post a 4-2, 2.70, 21-appearances stat line for Frontier League’s Evansville in 2019.

Opp’s first pitch at St. Lucie will be his first as a pro.

RHRP Colby Morris - St. Lucie

Former Middlebury College pitcher, 6-3 Colby Morris, signed a minor league contract with the Mets this last January.

The 2018 NESCAC Pitcher of The Year had the most career wins (18), career starts (39), and innings pitched (256) in Middlebury history and also had the 2nd most strikeouts (174).

Thank you also Mack. I was wondering where Grullion came from and was thrust straight into the lineup and hitting clean-up. Also glad to read John’s explanation about where the missing Mets players are. I was sorry to see Mazeika rot on the taxi squad and not playing everyday, but I’m sure he’s taken care of on the taxi squad, so... mixed emotions.

I can't get anyone in the Mets org. to release to me the names of the players on the Taxi squad.

Didn't know I was asking for North Korea nuclear silo coordinates.
