Program Makes 25 Tickets Available for Local Non-Profits
Savannah, GA – The Savannah Sand Gnats are proud to announce that Spectrum Printing and Marketing will be the presenting sponsor of the all-new Community Corner program in 2010. Spectrum Printing and Marketing is also the Official Printing Company of the Savannah Sand Gnats.
The Community Corner will make 25 General Admission tickets available to a local non-profit for each of the Gnats 70 regular season home games during the 2010 baseball season. One group per night can take advantage of this great offer, and a member of the group will also have the opportunity to throw out a ceremonial first pitch. Groups will also be recognized on the video board and over the ballpark’s public address system.
“The Community Corner is designed to recognize and reward local groups for their commitment to helping build our community with tickets to have a great night out at Historic Grayson Stadium,” explained Gnats President John Katz. “This program gives groups that may not have the financial resources to treat their members, or the people they serve, to a night together at the ballpark at no cost to them.”

Yesterday I talked with the Executive Director of the Big Brothers/Big Sisters organization of Chatham County and he told me Gnats President John Katz came to his office to explain the program. BB/BS plans to participate in this program.
