Inclement Weather Forces B-Mets Postponement

BINGHAMTON,NY – The Binghamton Mets 6:35 PM game against the New Britain Rock Cats hasbeen postponed due to inclement weather. The contest will be made up as part ofa doubleheader at NYSEG Stadium on August 7 at 5:35 PM. The teams will play twoseven-inning contests with gates opening at 5:00 PM for the twin bill.

Monday’srainout is the second postponement this season for the B-Mets.

Ticketholdersfor tonight’s game can redeem their ticket for one of equal or lesser value toany future 2012 regular season home game, excluding July 3.

TheB-Mets (14-15) will start their rain-shortened series tomorrow night againstthe New Britain Rock Cats at 6:35 PM. LHP Mark Cohoon takes the mound forBinghamton against LHP Andrew Albers. The Horizons Federal Credit Unionpre-game show begins at 6:20 PM on Newsradio 1290 WNBF.
